1. Introduction

Welcome to ESCROWNET. These Terms of Service govern your use of our escrow banking platform, website, and related services. By accessing or using ESCROWNET, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions

  • Platform means the ESCROWNET website, dashboard, and services.
  • Escrow means the holding of funds by ESCROWNET pending fulfillment of contractual conditions.
  • Investor means a user who deposits funds into an escrow transaction.
  • Company means an investment company that creates escrow offers and requests release.
  • Partner means a property verification agency or insurance partner.

3. Escrow Services

ESCROWNET provides workflow and transaction protection services. We hold funds, coordinate verification, and manage release requests. We do not guarantee investment returns unless expressly stated in a legally executed escrow or insurance agreement.

4. User Obligations

  • Provide accurate KYC information including NIN and BVN where required.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Use the platform only for lawful real estate buyback transactions.
  • Cooperate with verification requests from property and insurance partners.

5. Fees

Fees are charged per transaction as displayed on our Pricing page. All fees are in Nigerian Naira (NGN). No hidden charges apply. Enterprise pricing is subject to a separate written agreement.

6. Dispute Resolution

Disputes may be raised by any party to a transaction. ESCROWNET will review evidence, audit logs, and applicable contracts. Our decision is binding unless overturned by a competent Nigerian court.

7. Limitation of Liability

ESCROWNET provides escrow workflow and transaction protection services. Investment returns are subject to contract terms, verification, liquidity, regulatory compliance, and counterparty performance. ESCROWNET does not guarantee investment profits unless expressly stated in a legally executed escrow or insurance agreement.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
